Real activity contracted over the last 30 days: 78 businesses earned organic revenue (-46 on last month), on $1.2M (+132%). Early markets are volatile; the seller count is the number to watch through the noise.

Strip the noise and the x402 economy is small and top-heavy: 78 wallets cleared the organic bar (≥ $100 revenue, ≥ 3 buyers, average payment ≥ $0.001) out of 19,015 that received anything at all. The top 10 wallets hold 79% of volume, and the median wallet earned $0.04 across the month — the long tail is spam, not commerce.

coinbase clears the plurality of x402 payments at 46% of settled volume. Some of the largest "sellers" on raw explorers are facilitator settlement wallets — their throughput is other people's revenue, which is why the organic filter excludes them.

Methodology. Organic = wallets with ≥ $100 revenue in the window, ≥ 3 distinct buyers, average payment ≥ $0.001, excluding identified facilitator settlement wallets. Raw figures are published unfiltered alongside. Full methodology →
